In episode 4, meet Lisa Irby of Passive Shirt Profits.

Lisa is a serial entrepreneur who’s been making a living online since 2006. I can honestly tell you, she is the real deal. Seeing how successful Lisa’s online business is, I find it hard to believe that it was a fluke that got her online business started. Although Lisa has always loved tech, it wasn’t until 2006 that Lisa took the leap and quit her nine-to-five so she could work exclusively online.

Lisa is a born teacher. Lisa’s internet business allows her to combine the two things that she enjoys the most; teaching and working with computers. She found creative ways to scale her success and helps others to do the same via her print on demand courses.

As you can imagine, Lisa has plenty to say about launching a successful business, online myths regarding monetizing online, and much more!

Starengu’s Podcast: Weekend Warrior Tip 1 | Podcasting

Starengu's Podcast Weekend Warrior Tip Podcasting

Anchor recently updated their platform and interface, please note below that the ‘On a budget’ will differ than what is in the podcast…

In today’s podcast, we discussed a variety of ways in how to create and produce audio.

Regardless of your budget, one of the below options will suit your needs. There are two different types low budget and investment:

On a budget

  1. Record your podcast using the Anchor app or using Anchor from your desktop.
  2. f you are happy with the recording, then consider yourself done. Hit that publish button! However, if you wish to edit your video, save it as a draft and download your audio so you can use  use the  recording software of your choice edit. If you’re on a budget, check out Screencast-O-Matic.
  3. Use Screencast-O-Matic to clean up the audio.
  4. Upload to your Anchor podcast station.

Investment

If you want to learn how to use Screencast-O-Matic or Camtasia in more detail then check out my course creation class. This class will teach you how to record, edit and produce videos, host webinars, etc.

You can use Canva (it’s free) to create your YouTube Channel art. If you’re interested in learning more about Canva or Photoshop you may be interested in my design course.

  1. Record your podcasts using a good mic like the Blue Yeti (I have this one) or ATR-2100 by Audio Technica. You should also get a popfilter.
  2. Edit and produce your video using Camtasia.
  3. Upload to your Anchor podcast station.
  1. You can create a YouTube video using the audio from your podcast, just like I did.
  2. If you’re looking for a way to keep track of your content, then consider creating a content calendar.
